I have had shelties since 1983 when we purchased one as a pet for our son. We really got caught up in the passion and we have 7 shelties (3 females and 4 dogs).

I decided to import a lovely bitch puppy from Australia, Shatrin Spring Delight from Queensland Australia, and I had a dog on lease, Aus/NZ Ch Anscot The Rambler for a year from the same kennel. He had limited stud duties here but really made his mark while here producing now 4 champions in New Zealand.

I also was lucky to have been given another dog from the same kennel breeding Aus Ch Anscot The Jazz Lover (Josh) and he has also been very good for the breed here.

My latest litter from Josh left me with one dog puppy and one bitch puppy.  We are keeping the dog puppy and have mated another girl to my Ch Eastonia Uprising, puppies due in October and I hope to keep a female from that mating. (This  web page was updated August 09)

"Cody" Ch Eastonia Trion A High Note was born one of two pups the other having to be hand reared.  Cody just never looked back and was a beautiful tri puppy.

On his way to his title (Ch in 2009) his first outing resulted in him being awarded Res Dog as a baby puppy and Baby Puppy of Group. Unfortunately this day was also very sad as his mother Kiri had been put to sleep as she had cancer. I came out of the ring feeling elated but which soon turned to tears when I heard the news.

He has had numerous group wins for his age and was awarded Reserve in Show under Mary Glover - Best and Puppy in Show at our 2007 Championship show. He is a delight to own as his lovely nature which he inherited from his mother, shines through.
